It was hard seeing him leave. Well, it wasn't hard, it was horrid. I feel parentally, stressing over his safety, but I couldn't discard my fears. What if they get robbed? Taken? What if he wants to come home halfway through? What if he never comes home? Even though my eyes were rimmed with tears, I smiled back at his grin and waved goodbye. It's as Louis says, he's "Living the adventure."
(Jack's Point of View):
It was hard leaving. Well, hard was an understatement, it was awful. I feel attached and unadventurous, as I think about how me seeing her now is the last time I'll be seeing her in weeks. I know that she has been trying to calm her nerves as well, and it makes me upset knowing that I'm causing her distress. Even though it's hard to say goodbye, I know it's for the best. It's as Louis says, "Live the adventure."
