Finn Harries Imagine: Skyping While He's at University

I smiled slightly as I looked at the photo of my boyfriend, Finn, on my desk. He was at University now, studying film making and design. As happy as I am for him, it's depressing not having him here. I was interrupted from my thoughts by a bing on my computer.

"Finn Harries<3" would like to video chat

I grinned as I clicked the "accept," button and saw his adored face pop up onto the screen.

"Finn!"

"Baby!" 

He was smiling brightly at me. I noticed he had on the sweater I gave him for Christmas a year back.

"I like your sweater," I told him.

"Thank you, someone special got it for me."

"I know, I'm great," I smiled sleepily at him. He could escalate my mood from depressed to over-joyed in less than 20 seconds.

"So how's University?" I asked him.

"It's alright. How's London?"

"I miss you," I explained to him. I watched his lips turn to a frown, as I stared at him through the computer screen.

"I miss you too. But think, in a couple months I'll be home for holiday!"

"True."

I looked at the clock on the top of my screen. Shoot. In 20 minutes I was supposed to meet my mum for lunch.

"I've got to go, promise you'll keep in touch?" As guilty as I am for having to leave, my mom does not put up with late people. I can already picture her shaking head, showing displeasure, now.

"Promise." 

He grinned at me one more time, before I clicked the "end," button.

Just a couple more months.
